You can make a difference

MLD (Metachromatic Leukodystrophy) is a rare genetic disease but when it strikes it brings devastation to the entire family. We need your help to:

  • Support families suffering with MLD
  • Raise awareness of this terrible disease in the medical profession to ensure early diagnosis
  • Campaign to get newborn testing (like the current heel prick test) – knowledge is power
  • Raise money to fund essential research to find a cure for MLD – we are committed to donating 20% of our income to research to fight MLD.
How can you help?
  • Donate funds
  • Help to raise funds with our collection boxes and raffles. Contact us for details
  • Organise a fundraising event at your school, workplace, church or other venue
  • Volunteer to help and support local families affected by MLD
  • Contact us with your ideas
  • Visit our shop (this is for the future when we have merchandise)
