MLD Support Association UK Family Conference – Saturday 20 June 2020

The third MLD Support Association UK Family Conference will be held at The Holiday Inn in Telford on Saturday 20 June 2020.

The focus this year will be on Support, Care and Therapies for MLD sufferers. There will be presentations, followed by family discussions and networking sessions. An all-day crèche for children will be provided. There will be a cocktail reception on Saturday evening, followed by dinner. There will then be free time for families to mix. We are subsidising the costs, so prices to attend are lower and we very much hope you can join us.

Dr. Anupam Chakrapani, Consultant in Paediatric Metabolic Medicine at Great Ormond Street Hospital will be attending. Also attending will be Dr Ming Lim, Consultant Paediatric Consultant at Evalina Children’s Hospital London and Prof Simon Heales, Head of Service for Laboratory Medicine at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Other experts in the field of MLD/Leukodystrophies and those caring for sufferers and supporting families will also give presentations. The Pharmaceutical companies will present up-to-date information on Gene Therapy and Enzyme Replacement Therapy
